On February 20, 1962 John Glenn became the first American to orbit the earth. This spaceflight mission, conducted by NASA, was their first orbit with a human on board!
There have been many advances in the space industry since then, the latest being the launch of the Falcon Heavy rocket on February 6th by Elon Musk's aerospace company. The Tesla Roadster and its mannequin pilot Starman can actually be tracked through space! Now the only question is, where will the Roadster eventually end up? Only time will tell...
