This full-page photo of General Moshe Dayan from LIFE Magazine is an original historic page from the June 1967 edition covering Israel’s Six-Day War. Upon order, this page will be painstakingly extracted from the original edition in which it appears and carefully framed and packaged for delivery.
Moshe Dayan was appointed Israel’s Minister of Defense just before the outbreak of the war that would become known as the Six Day War. His photo was taken by LIFE Magazine photographer Paul Schutzer who lost his life covering that war. This is one of his last photographs.
This historic and original page from LIFE Magazine measures approximately 10.5″ x 13.5″ and it surrounded by a white professional framing mat cut to this page’s specifications. The total area of the page and the mat measures 15.75” x 19.7”. The handsome and contemporary dark-brown frame itself is a high-quality medium-density fiberboard (MDF) with shatterproof plexiglass.
