The Old Map of Boston shows the city from its east side and looking out towards the west. It incorporates all of Boston's many neighborhoods and shows that the city was already quite large and busy all those years ago.

As the capital of the state of Massachusetts, Boston has had its share of historic events and context. From the Boston Tea Party to the Boston Massacre, the city was the site of many formative events just before and during the Revolutionary War. This Old Map of Boston incorporates some of Boston's original sites like the Boston Common, the oldest park in the United States as well as Haymarket Square which until today remains a popular site for trade and commerce.

Our Old Map of Boston also includes a picturesque view of the entire Boston Harbor, afloat with ships delivering their wares to the various neighborhoods of Boston. From Cambridge to Quincy and the towns nearby, the Old Map of Boston is "the gift" for a Bostonian or someone who attended one of the many universities there.

Framed in a beautiful real wood frame that is approximately 1” wide and ½” thick, old state maps come in various sizes and are carefully packed for delivery.

As this item is a true facsimile of an actual old map there may be slight imperfections which only add to its authenticity.

Please allow 3 - 5 working days for individual print production and hand-framing of the item in addition to shipping time.
